Zebra Ltd. started its operation in 1995 as a private customs agency in Hungary and operated as a customs agency for the following 10 years. In 2014 the company was 100% bought by the current owner – the Nagy family – and the name of the company was changed to Zebra Neo 2014 Ltd.
In 2015, the company’s profile was expanded to include road freight transport and in 2017, with the opening of our Budapest airport office, air, sea and rail freight forwarding.
The management of Zebra Neo has decades of experience in several areas of logistics. They have worked in large corporate environments both in Hungary and internationally. This experience is complemented by the expertise of our colleagues on a day-to-day basis.
The company is headquartered in Tatabánya, Hungary. It is strategically located in the centre of the most developed north-western region of the country. The city is crossed by the Budapest-Vienna highway, from which the main road to Bratislava is directly accessible, similarly to the main railway line connecting the Budapest-Vienna- Bratislava triangle.
In terms of logistics, this is a strategic position, as we are located at the gateway to Western and Eastern Europe, as well as Northern and Southern Europe, making us perfectly placed to serve our dynamically growing customer base. In addition, we operate in a number of other locations, such as Komárom, Oroszlány, Biatorbágy and Páty, where we provide local customs services. In Budapest, we also have our own office at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, so that we can handle our air cargoes in close proximity.
Zebra Neo has evolved significantly since its transformation in 2014. We have opened numerous new offices and local representatives in the North-West Hungary region to meet our customers’ customs and logistics needs as quickly and directly as possible with the highest quality. In addition, we have further expanded our range of services, including road, rail, water and air freight forwarding, as well as warehousing or customs clearance. We are currently also expanding our service areas to respond even more effectively to the new logistics opportunities of our time, such as the rapidly growing e-commerce.
One of our most important achievements is that, despite strong growth, we are able to continue to maintain personal contact with our customers, offering them a flexible and personalised service.
